As such, mosquito identification is at relatively greater risk of observer error. Hence an integrated software ANAMOS VERSION 1.0.1 is developed to facilitate medical entomologists, doctors, public health workers, NGOs and health authorities of both state and central government agencies Development and use of ANAMOS VERSION 1.0.1 will allow easier identification of Indian Anophelines for control and monitoring, ensuring that vector identification is kept at world's best standards.

Key to identify 54 species of Indian Anopheline mosquitoes is a set of pages designed using HTML and Java Script format for developing ANAMOS VERSION 1.0.1, an interactive program for identifying a specimen by comparing its attributes with stored descriptions of taxa. The key is designed to help the novice learn to identify malarial vectors in India.
