.Our projects are funded by Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and CSIR.

The main objective of the project is focused on the management of vector population by non-insecticidal methods, eco-friendly technology and Information Technology. The information on forecasting system to predict the outbreak of Malaria and Japanese Encephalitis is the new direction in public health. This will act as an alarming system to alert the health authorities to take an appropriate action well in advance. Scientists of this group are involved in social projects like integrated sericulture and tissue culture on economically viable plants for self-employment and income generation to the rural masses.
