| Objective of the Project: |
- Design and Development of Database Management System for Epidemiological, Entomological and Socio- Economic parameters of Filariasis.
- Data mining tools for predicting the vector abundance and disease transmission for the control of filariasis.
- Mapping the endemic zones based on the severity of the disease
- Development of user-friendly front-end software to enable data input and query operations.
- Report generation in text format.
- Generation of required themes by combining the spatial and non-spatial data.
- Generating epidemiological maps by using GIS.
- Make the GIS maps and predictions generated by Data mining tools available on the web.
- Draw a strategic plan in collaboration with the Directorate of Health, Govt. of AP to utilize the output of the project for the integrated control of filariasis.

| Salient features |
- Web based application is developed for the purpose of providing the features such as data entry, modification and generation of various combinational reports etc.
- The web application software is responsible for storing and managing the data related to the Filariasis.
