 Some Information about Zika:

Zika virus disease (ZVD) is a mosquito-borne disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes.

The infection usually doesn't cause severe symptoms and subsides in a few days.

While it is usually mild to moderate disease in adults and requires no specific treatment, in pregnant women, it may cause microcephaly - a condition in which the head is significantly smaller due to abnormal brain development in the fetus.

You can prevent Zika virus disease by protecting yourself from mosquito bites.

Use an insect repellent, Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants.

Control mosquitoes indoors and outdoors, such as using window screens.
