2nd Monkeypox case in Delhi
A 35-year-old Nigerian man, residing in Delhi and having no recent foreign travel history, has tested positive for monkeypox, taking the total number of infected people in Delhi to two. Two suspected patients of monkeypox, who are of African origin, have also been admitted in the Hospital in Delhi.
Dengue outbreak in Koraput district, Odisha
The Koraput district has reported around 205 dengue cases in the month of July and it is the highest number of cases during a seven-month period. The inaccessible pockets of Dasmantpur, Laxmipur, Kundra, Boipariguda, Nandapur, Pottangi and Borrigumma are vulnerable to this disease. Among these inaccessible pockets, the highest number of cases were registered from Laxmipur block headquarters.
