Chikungunya cases in Gujarat
Since January 2022, 78 chikungunya cases were reported from Ahmedabad district. Of this, 20 cases were reported in the month of February alone. During the last year 1,754 chikungunya cases were reported, while 923 cases were reported in 2020.
Dengue, chikungunya cases on the rise in Pune, Maharashtra
The Pune has reported 44 confirmed positive cases of dengue, 270 suspected cases and 24 confirmed cases of chikungunya from January to February 2022. Out of 44 dengue cases, seven were reported in less than 14-years age group.
