 Corona outbreaks in India

 

India reported its second case of novel coronavirus today. A person who had a history of travelling to China tested positive in Kerala today, the health ministry confirmed. The patient has tested positive for novel coronavirus and is in isolation in a hospital. Officials said the patient is stable and is being closely monitored. Earlier, an Indian student of Wuhan University in China tested positive in Kerala which was the first case of coronavirus in India.

 

Govt. of India has evacuated 324 Indians from Wuhan following outbreak of corona virus and they were admitted at the two quarantine facilities set up by the Army and the ITBP, though none of them have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, officials said.

 

 

The Telangana government said on Saturday that 11 of the 18 samples tested for the novel coronavirus in the state have turned out to be negative. Eighteen people have so far sought medical help, 11 had tested negative. Results of seven samples are awaited.
