Corona virus outbreak in India:
India reported its first positive case of Novel Corona virus (nCoV) on Thursday. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH & FW, Govt. of India) in an official statement said that a student studying in Wuhan University, has been tested positive for Novel Corona virus in Kerala. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored in isolation in the hospital.
The government has said that it is prepared to handle any outbreak in the country. Thermal screening sensors are operational and few more such equipment is being procured. The immigration and other staff members at the airports have been sensitized and dedicated ambulances are placed at the Airports. Deployment of medical and para-medical staff is also being done for round-the-clock service.
