Dengue cases in Kerala

 Highest dengue cases reported in Kerala:

 

The maximum number of cases have been reported in Kerala with 9,104 followed by Tamil Nadu with 4,174 till July 2017.

 

The Union Health Minister J P Nadda conducted a review meeting on preparedness for control of vector-borne diseases. The Health Secretary C.K. Mishra said, Kerala is battling with dengue, malaria and other diseases due to early arrival of monsoon.

 

According to the information provided by the ministry, Karnataka has reported 1,945 cases, Gujarat 616, Andhra Pradesh 606 and West Bengal 469. Delhi has touched nearly 100 dengue cases. Till 2nd July 2017, country has reported 10,952 chikungunya cases, among Karnataka has recorded highest number of cases with 4047.
