CSIR-IICT ENVIS Centre @ CSIR Platinum Jubilee celebrations Science exhibition
01st to 06th September 2017, CSIR-IICT, Habsiguda, Hyderabad-07.
During CSIR Platinum Jubilee celebrations held at CSIR-IICT, the ENVIS products such as newsletters, brochures and abstract book were displayed and distributed to school children's. Apart from this various life stages of mosquito larvae were kept for display and demonstrated to school children's to make them aware about the disease spread by mosquitoes and to discard or destroy such breeding habitats in and around the house.
The students showed keen interest and many of them would disseminate the same message in their respective schools and colonies to reduce the menace of mosquitoes. During entire week the stall received huge response and the science exhibition attracted approximately around 50,000 registered visitors.
